Also we discovered that defining tasks, training and testing technicians ensured they were prepared for both normal and emergency tasks. And that not doing so is not a technicians fault but rather a leadership failure.
Our Integrated Learning Management System or LMS uses visual tools and animations to drive home the lessons and then test to ensure understanding and comprehension. We use a proprietary DIF (Difficulty, Importance, and Frequency) algorithm to rate priority and timing of recurring training to maintain currency.
