The ICARUS Ops leadership team took its digital checklist system off the road and into the dirt. CEO Gerald Leekey says their mobile wearable checklists ensure all systems are ‘green for go’ prior to each leg of the race.
For three years in a row, the race team has been using the ICARUS Ops digital checklist system in a similar way autonomous vehicle clients will use it.
The race is the NORRA Mexican 1000, a 1,200 mile off-road race that starts in Ensenada and ends a week later in San Jose del Cabo. Grueling road conditions mean that vehicles are in constant need of maintenance and repair, and this is where ICARUS Ops checklists speed up the process and ensure that nothing is overlooked.
