Joe Jones

President and Co-Founder

Joe "Jonesy" Jones, with three decades of experience in High Reliability Organizations, brings a wealth of knowledge from his time in airline and military flight, military C3 (command, control, and communication), as well as crash, fire, and rescue operations. He holds Boeing 737 and 777 type ratings and stays abreast of the latest best practices and technologies. His extensive background in high-risk scenarios fueled the creation of the ICARUS Ops™ Digital Checklist System.

Gerald Leekey

CEO and Co-Founder

Gerald "Leekster" Leekey, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, brings over two decades of seasoned expertise as a Naval Aviator with the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves, primarily on aircraft carriers. He is a certified Boeing and Airbus pilot, with extensive experience in commercial aviation spanning more than 25 years. Leekster’s consulting roles in high-risk industries, including oil rigs, have honed his skills, making him a pivotal contributor to the development of the ICARUS Ops™ Digital Checklist System.

Mark Anderson

Mark Anderson

Senior VP Engineering

Mark "Max" Anderson boasts over three decades of expertise in automation and robotics. With a notable career spanning 21 years as a Naval Aviator aboard aircraft carriers in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves, Anderson is well-versed in various commercial aircraft operations, including the Boeing 777.

Expertise

Max's proficiency encompasses Human Machine Interface (HMI), ergonomics, automation, and data analytics, with applications in Commercial/Military Aviation, Oil and Gas, and other high-reliability sectors. His contributions include developing policies, procedures, and training systems for automation usage, crafting FAA compliance strategies for 
automated cockpits, and pioneering the implementation of Line Operation Safety Audit (LOSA) principles in the U.S. Navy. His work also extends to creating comprehensive Training and Standards Systems, enhancing training efficiency and resource management across multiple disciplines.
